Not keeping up with regular posting... gonna have to work on that.... need to be able to keep my mind empty instead of always pushing stuff out of the way.

Blew up my system today... don't know exactly how I did it, but all I know is that I installed a system utility from Nvidia on my K8NS Pro (which has a n3 250), and I lost sound and mouse for most of the day... reinstalled windows, (had to talk to a snooty girl from alberta), reflashed the bios... just about everything I could find actually, then after just leaving it for a few hours with all the power off, It works again... GRRRRRR... hate when that happens, because I don't know what fixed it.  Otherwise, worked with family friend Mary on her dead husbands computer, and yes, it was just as morbid as it sounds... Otherwise, I'll be back later, gotta finish putting my apps back on XP... Too Ta Loo...

Just finished cleaning up the cables in this PC... everything's tucked nicely now...  Posted by Hello
First time back here in a while, so I need to vent some... Well, I just got done argueing with a bunch of ignorant people who seem to think that giving out common sence requires some sort of "Rep"... a mysterious force that controls all... which in turn gives "creed" to the person holding the "Rep". Don't understand that... All I tried to do was lay out some simple rules for working on modding a computer... What is it about people that make them so stupid competative? Ah well... I was going to put together enough "rep" to look better, but why would I want to do something like that? I'm just going to work with what I have, and make myself happy.

On a different note, I didn't get to go see "I Robot" tonight because I was performing Tech Support for another computer I had built and now resides in Chicago with friends of mine. It seems this computer is having life crisis issues. I'll have to go to Chicago to look at it, and though I want to do just that, I'm not sure I wouldn't rather stay home and do work for myself.

Finally, life is progressing slowly... haven't found a job yet in my new home... my wife is happy at hers, but I feel quite useless and bored... don't know what to do about that... might have to look into volenteer activities or something. I'll get to that when I can tho... as for now, I'm just going to keep looking for something to do...
